The Inspiration
The brand “lavalier:” was inspired by its technical definition—a small microphone used in filmmaking, ideal for recording dialogues. The colon signifies the illustration of an idea, quotation, or explanation.
The selection of white and faded black colors creates a bold cinematic impression, reminiscent of a traditional film reel, containing actual motion picture footage. And red represents the act of recording, capturing the energy and passion behind a film.
